We are seeking an experienced bilingual Sales Analyst responsible for the analysis and interpretations of customer sales data. This qualified candidate will be working at our Houston, Texas location recommending actions to meet the strategic objectives of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the primary business contact for managed accounts and company internal departments
- Responsible for analysis and interpretations of customer sales data
- Work with the purchasing team to strategize actions to meet the planned objectives of the organization
- Manage Price Integrity Clerks
- Compile, analyze, validate, and verify sales data
- Supply strategic and timely recommendations for designated customer base
- Develop sales forecasts and review stock to sales ratios
- Provide sales trend analysis, offer insights and determine areas of opportunity
- Prepare presentations for management and business partners reviewing trends, connections and correlation of up and downstream impacts affecting the customer experience
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred
- Over three years of related work experience, ideally in a retail, grocery or purchasing environment
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex assessments to internal and external clients both in Spanish and English
- Proven analytical skills and an aptitude for translating information into coherent analysis, reports and presentations
- Able to solve problems analytically and create actionable recommendations through analyzing customer level information
- Progressive thinker capable of expanding existing set of analytical data
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (including but not limited to Excel, Access, Word and Power Point)
- Familiar with Business Objects, Prophix or other Query tools is desired
- Possess excellent multitasking skills with the ability to handles multiple demands simultaneously
- Ability to drive initiatives and develop strong working relationships with both the sales teams and customers
