This role requires you to be onsite every day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contribute to pneumatic/mechanical architecture and design plans and documents
- Develop pneumatic subassembly design specifications.
- Design pneumatic and mechanical subassemblies in 3D CAD.
- Create/review mechanical part drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs using 3D CAD software.
- Build and test mechanical subassemblies.
- Coordinate prototype and pilot builds of mechanical assemblies, including test fixtures/processes
- Work according to Project Plan and Company QA Manual.
- Maintain current QA training, as required.
Key qualifications and experience include:
Education:
- High school graduate
- Preferred: 4-year mechanical engineering or technology degree, emphasis in fluids
- Minimum: 2-year associate degree in engineering technology
Work Experience:
- 3+ years min working as a mechanical engineer developing fluid control devices.
- 3+ years developing mechanical systems for a medical device, or other safety critical application, preferred.
- 3+ years working within a quality system including document and change control process, and formal V&V testing processes
- Software Skills – Competent with Excel, Word, and SolidWorks CAD
